Krissy and Jake decided to elope at Black Rocks, Marquette. It is known as Presque Isle Park in Marquette, Michigan.
When we got to Marquette, it was a downpour. It was not lightly raining but it was a full on downpour. We weren’t sure what to expect so we waited it out for a few hours.
When we got to the Black Rocks in Marquette, the weather cleared up for us. It was like someone was looking out or watching down on us and decided to give us a block of time without any rain, making the fog and the haze absolutely beautiful for photos.
Reminded me of the Pacific Northwest when we were actually in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There is truly nothing like the crisp, pure waters of Lake Superior.
